 Sublimation printing requires precision and continuous learning to avoid common issues like dull transfers, blurriness, or ghosting. Understanding these problems and their solutions can significantly improve print quality. Here are six frequent sublimation printing issues and how to fix them. 1. Image Ghosting Image ghosting appears as a shadow effect due to the sublimation transfer paper moving during the process. Solution: Use thermal tape for hard substrates and adhesive spray for fabrics. Avoid auto-open presses as they open too fast, causing paper shifts. 2. Less Vibrant Transfers If transfers lack vibrancy, check if you're printing on the correct side of the sublimation paper (bright white side). Another reason could be incorrect color correction.
